4-Day Bale Mountains National Park Tour
DAY 1
Addis Ababa → Bale Mountains / Goba
Begin the journey with an early morning departure from Addis Ababa. Drive south through Adama, Asella, and Dodola toward the Bale Mountains, enjoying the changing landscapes of the Ethiopian highlands along the way.
Continue to Goba/Robe and check into your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a short walk around the area and take in the mountain atmosphere before settling in for the evening.

DAY 2
Goba → Dinsho → Sanetti Plateau
After breakfast, drive to Dinsho, the headquarters of Bale Mountains National Park. Explore the surrounding grasslands and woodland while looking for some of the area's distinctive wildlife.
Keep watch for mountain nyala, Menelik's bushbuck, warthogs, and endemic bird species as you explore the park with your guide.
Continue upward to the spectacular Sanetti Plateau, reaching elevations of more than 4,000 metres. The high-altitude landscape offers some of the best opportunities to look for the Ethiopian wolf.
Visit Tullu Dimtu at 4,377 metres, one of Ethiopia's highest peaks, before returning toward Goba for the evening.

DAY 3
Harenna Forest & Rira

Continue toward Rira, a remote mountain community surrounded by forest. Learn about local life and traditional forest coffee and honey production before returning toward Goba in the afternoon.

DAY 4
